Every year, thousands of toads make the arduous journey back to the waters of their birth to reproduce. They have to overcome numerous dangers along the way - from dangerous roads to other obstacles that turn their journey into a fight for survival.

Director Biography - Jonas Steiner

Jonas Steiner has always been fascinated by nature and is studying for a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich. In addition to his studies, he works as a freelance filmmaker and underwater photographer. His main focus is often on science communication and topics related to water.
