In the Arctic mountains of Norway, a primeval survivor defies extreme conditions: the musk ox. As the short spring arrives, the ice recedes and the colossus descends in search of food. Summer is characterised by light and new life, whilst at the same time every species fights for survival. Autumn is the season of the rutting season and fierce battles that determine who will pass on their genes. Then winter returns. The musk ox stands firm in the freezing cold.
