Professor Luca Rossi devotes the remainder of his academic career to researching wolves. As he navigates the tension between those who support wolves and those who oppose them, his scientific findings come into conflict with his own feelings. In order to truly understand the animals, Luca tries to get as close to them as possible. In doing so, he encounters not only the wolves themselves, but also the strong emotions of the people who either fear or love them.
