The film showcases Germany’s natural wonders in breathtaking images – from the country’s largest national park, the Wadden Sea, to its highest mountain, the Zugspitze, and its longest river, the Rhine. The local wildlife is also full of superlatives: from the fastest bird of prey, the peregrine falcon, to the largest predator, the grey seal, and the world record holder for long-distance flight, the Arctic tern, right through to the rarest cat, the lynx. Nature on our doorstep is so diverse.
