When porpoises are stressed by ship noise, they sink to the seabed and stop breathing, feeding and hunting. However, there are innovative solutions – such as new types of quiet ship propellers. The film crew travels to Denmark and interviews the trainers of the only porpoise working in the service of science about their findings. The film also offers insights into the Potsdam Ship Model Testing Centre, where scientists and engineers are testing new propellers.
