Every year during springtime, a unique animal migration takes place near the Bavarian Alps. Over ten thousand common toads head on to an adventurous journey, ready to face countless obstacles in order to reproduce and reach their spawning site. Their goal is to reach three crystal-clear lakes located in a seemingly quaint valley between Ruhpolding and Reit am Winkl. This journey marks the biggest challenge of their life, in particular for the female toads.
