The documentary takes us on a journey along the Swedish coastline, revealing both despair and hope. We see dead and dying sharks that have been dumped in a harbour, whilst elsewhere scientists are discovering new populations of giant sharks – hidden in a deep-sea canyon. And on the east coast, both people and animals are feeling the effects of the herring shortage, whereas on the west coast, thanks to more sustainable fishing practices, large tuna are reappearing.
