Wie geht Natur?!
A Film by Jakob Bruno Friedrich
This documentary tells the story of one of Germany’s most significant nature conservation initiatives: the 35-year National Park Programme, which was largely initiated in 1990 by the Brandenburg-based biologist Prof. Dr Michael Succow – a ‘German-German nature conservation revolution’ that gave rise to five national parks, six biosphere reserves and three nature parks. The central question is: How does nature work?! Alongside Succow, his colleague Prof. Dr Hannes Knapp and other experts have their say.
